Challenge
Sosauce is a next-generation web-based social media and content community platform that stresses on ease-of-use, user interface design and integration between applications. When Sosauce Photo was designed, the intention was to address a variety of frustrations people faced with online photo-sharing tools. One of the biggest issues was that people were forced to adapt to the single photo uploading process a site offered and did not have an option to choose an interface they were most comfortable with. To address this need, Sosauce designed several upload “modes,” including Basic, Guided and Fast, for users to choose from depending on their preference. The challenge was to execute on the designs and to make sure we deliver the goals each mode intended to achieve.
Solution
After an extensive study of different solution scenarios, we concluded that integrating Aurigma Image Uploader into Sosauce Photo was our best option. Not only did it offer us the most cost-effective development cycle, but it also would help us meet all the user interface design goals and functionality that we aimed to achieve. The implementation was as straightforward as we expected and the end result was also satisfactory.
